Skiing and Snowboarding at Mt. Bachelor
Located only 18 miles from Sunriver, Mt. Bachelor offers skiing and snowboarding for everyone, including Nordic skiing, alpine skiing and terrain snowboarding. The alpine ski season usually runs from late November through Memorial Day weekend. Mt. Bachelor is a wonderful mountain for skiers of all abilities, with the trail division of 30% expert, 40% intermediate and 30% beginner. Nearly 50 kilometers of groomed trails at the base of the mountain offer the Nordic skier plenty of distance and views.
Mt. Bachelor is a premier winter sports destination. From alpine skiing to snowboarding, Mt. Bachelor offers a variety of programs and lessons, as well as phenomenal terrain. Enjoy views of South Sister, Broken Top and Tumalo Mountain as you enjoy the Summit or any of the other runs on Mt. Bachelor. 2016 brings the addition of a new east side chairlift, Cloudchaser, which adds 635 acres of lift-served terrain, making Mt. Bachelor the 5th largest ski area in the United States.
