All Month Long – Yoga Month at the Sunriver Resort

September is National Yoga Month and the Sunriver Resort is celebrating health, wellness, and vitality all month long! The resort is featuring a variety of events and programs to educate and inspire a healthy lifestyle, including dining specials with clean eating menus and special yoga-themed cocktails. Needless to say this is one our favorite events in Central Oregon.

Backyard Happy Hour

Join the party Saturdays 4pm-6pm for one hour yoga classes on the backyard lawn.
There will be yoga from 4pm to 5pm at $10 per guest (with reservations required 24 hours in advance) and food and drink specials at The Backyard Bar afterwards from 5pm to 6pm.

September 8 – Michael Franti and Spearhead at the Les Schwab Amphitheater

Michael Franti and Spearhead, known for their authentic and uplifting music, have found global success with multi-platinum songs like “Say Hey (I Love You)” and the chart breaking 2010 release of The Sound Of Sunshine. Franti and his band guarantee a show that will be thought provoking as well as energetic. Michael Franti is a musician, filmmaker, and humanitarian who is recognized as a pioneering force in the music industry and long known for his globally conscious lyrics, powerful performances, and dynamic live shows. He will be playing at the Les Schwab Amphitheater in Bend on September 8th. Doors open at 5pm. Low profile chairs, yoga mats and blankets are allowed.

September 9 – SROA Community Garage Sale at the SHARC

From 9am to 1pm, Sunriver homeowners will be compiling their unwanted treasures for you to enjoy! Swing by and see what gems you might find.

September 9 – Second Saturday Party at The Artists Gallery in Sunriver

Come visit The Artists Gallery of Sunriver for a free Second Saturday Party with local artists! Enjoy light appetizers and a glass of wine or local microbrew while viewing the creations of some of Central Oregon’s most talented artists, many of whom will be onhand to discuss their works. The Second Saturday Party is Saturday, September 9th 4 – 6pm in the Sunriver Village Artists Gallery.

September 10 – John Butler Trio at the Athletic Club of Bend

Clear Summer Nights 2017 Concert Series takes place at the Athletic Club of Bend. Enjoy the fantastic music of the John Butler Trio while relaxing under the Central Oregon night skies!

September 15 – 16 – Bend Oktoberfest in Downtown Bend

Bend Oktoberfest is one of the most anticipated events of the year! Free and open to all ages, Bend Oktoberfest is a place for great beer, fun games, silly events, and being a part of the Bend community. Join us for the wiener dog race, traditional music, dancing, beer bong, stein holds, and so much more!

September 15 – 16 Uncorked Two-Day Wine Event

Enjoy wines, chocolates, and cheeses from across Oregon during this two-day event. Uncorked will also feature food and live music.

September 23 – Discover Nature Festival at Riverbend Park

The 2017 Discover Nature Festival is scheduled for Saturday, September 23 at Riverbend Park in Bend. This free event will feature over 35 nature education, outdoor recreation, and health and wellness activities. Bring the kids and enjoy the wonders that nature has to offer.
