Upland - Unit 17051

I would recommend this location to anyone looking for a relaxing/quiet spot to stay near Sunriver. The house is far enough away from town to see the stars at night, yet close enough to ride a bike to the store/coffee shop if needed. The beds were fairly comfortable, and the amenities/furnishings were better than most. The home includes a basic ping pong table and a couple of loaner bikes in the garage. I would like to have seen some loaner/plastic Kayaks, but this might be too much of a liability. I also feel the bathrooms needs a little upgrading (taller toilets), and the dishwasher could use some minor repairs (broken upper rack). Other than that, it was a perfect location to stay for our relaxing/mini getaway. We will be back...

Wonderful being right on the river. Home was clean and decently stocked. Perfect Amount of space for our family of four. Great layout and comfortable furnishings. Comfortable beds. Refrigerator could use an upgrade - missed having an ice maker on hot days. Hadn’t used ice cube trays in years. The sprinklers came on throughout the day and at dinner time and early evening making it impossible to be in the yard or get to the dock without getting wet. Got soaked having dinner at the picnic table in the yard more than once. And the hot tub cover weighs a ton and was very difficult getting on and off with very limited space and not the typical cover. We had a wonderful stay with our kids, kayaked and floated a lot from the house. Neighbors were sweet, although, the private dock right in the backyard was used by many people. One day we were on the dock and ten or so teens just walked from the front yard to the backyard and waited for us to leave our dock so they could put in. Another time a neighbor across the road used it. Not private at all.

The house was a lovely accommodation. Everything was in order and easy to utilize. If you decide to drift down the River, note that it is a 2 hour drift to the main take out bridge—with wind it’s longer.
You are a 10 min drive to the Lava Caves and High Desert Museum. I highly recommend both.
Upland Road isn’t paved in front of
The house so it’s not ideal for riding bikes. But there are paved bike trails about 5 min down the road as you head toward the Sunriver Village.
There are a lot of board games and family games
To stay entertained when not outdoors.

This home has a wonderful, peaceful (at least in early Oct) view from the deck with the added entertainment of people floating past on the river on all manner of boats/boards/floats. The house is well maintained, airy, and spacious and is close to the grocery store and shops at Sunriver. We were glad we brought our own deck chairs cause our backs don't like Adirondack chairs. Our only complaint was the weight of the broken hot tub cover which was a struggle for my muscular 170 lb husband to get off. A fine place. We'd like to come back next year.

This home is gorgeous and the view of the river tops it off. Easy bike ride or drive to Sunriver. We will return for sure!

We've stayed in rentals in Sun River for the last 30 years and this particular house was by far the best we've ever rented. Very well appointed and spotless. We will try to get this place from here on out.
