Great home for multiple couples or families, the home has 3 bedroom/bath combos. Very spacious, great kitchen. Enjoyed the yard in the nice weather. The only disappointing element was the deck furniture - most of the chairs were broken and the table was small and rusted.

We had a nice time at the White Elm property. Sunriver offers a lot of nice activities, but we were unimpressed by the pool, while it is nice, the opening times of 9:50 to 4:30 are disappointing and the fact that it is closed Tuesday and Wednesdays is annoying. The house is nicely located and clean, but will need some renovations soon.

Pleasant experience overall Kitchen not well appointed, only S&P not even oil, no barware. All showers slow to drain. Deck post fell and not usable even after post replaced. Hot tub filthy and not filled.

We will definitely come back to this home again! We had a wonderful time! Thank you!

Close to Mt Bachelor
We stayed over President's Day weekend, so winter sports was the plan. This house was very well suited to accomodate being about 30 minutes to Mt. Bachelor even with the snow on the roads near the ski area. Sun River Village has rentals available, as well as groceries, restaurants, and shops if you forget something. Bend has anything, and really isn't that far away. This house is very functional, and flexible for sleeping arrangements with 3 full bedrooms, and a pullout couch in a private area off one of the bedrooms. The hot tub was large, private, covered, and outdoors, which was a perfect combo for the winter in Sunriver. Strangely important was that the dining room table was big enough for 8, and had 8 chairs available. Many "Sleeps 8" or larger places had tables for only 6. The garage was also handy for keeping snow off the cars at night, and keeping ski gear out of the cars and out of the elements. Overall, it was a great place, in a great community, very close to Mt. Bachelor.

Wonderful views of Mt. Bachelor. Close to bike paths and bridge over the Deschutes River as well as the kids' playground. Hot tub is awesome.

Nice view and accommodation
Great location and true views of Mount Bachelor from the main second floor deck. Open and spacious, great for a large family or multiple family gatherings. House is in need of general repairs. Everything works great! ---------- MANAGER RESPONSE: Tex, we will be sure to have main take a good walk through the home. Thanks so much for the feedback, we'll see you next time! - Village Properties Team

Spacious and comfortable
We reserved this for six adults, only 4 were able to stay. However, if we had been six, there would have been plenty of room for everyone. Each room had their own bathroom privacy. Mbedroom on main floor, Bdrm 1 and 2 on lower floor (same floor with access to hot tub). The kitchen appliances are top-notch. The hot tub is huge, but might have been crowded with six adults. The WiFi reception is included in the rental and worked everywhere. The heating and air conditioning worked very well (we had hot and cold weather in the space of 4 days!). The property management company is very helpful and courteous.

We enjoyed the fact that each bedroom had a bath. we also enjoyed how the kitchen was open to the living space. The beds were comfortable and the AC worked well. The hot water was good. We would have appreciated a couple of lounge chairs and the ice maker didn't work in the freezer. Liked the central location in Sunriver, easy access to bike paths. Hot tub was delightful. Village Properties was very responsive to our needs. We would rent from them again.

Large Comfortable Rooms
A SunRriver house like most of the other Sun River Houses. Holds the full 8 people easily with large and comfortable rooms. A reasonable selection of kitchen utensils. Plenty of spots for parking. 3 cars easily and 6 with a little effort

31 White Elm
My wife was exceptionally surprised of the cleanliness of the home. Much more than other homes we have rented in Sunriver. The bed in the upstairs master was very comfortable and I had very good nights sleep. The bikes were OK; good enough to get around on. A couple of negatives: The BBQ starter was broken. Needed to purchase a butane lighter to get the BBQ started. Also the stairs were a problem for the 94 year old patriarch of the family. We did ask the Village Properties office to take care of some small issues, and they did dispatch people to take care of these issues. The hot tub was fine. If you like privacy during your hot tub experience, you got it. If you would like to see your surroundings while in the hot tub, you didn't get that. Plenty of room to park 3 cars. I did rate this 4 stars out of 5, but this is more like a 4 1/2 star location. Thank you Village Properties.

We so enjoyed our stay at this property. This is only our second time to stay at an Airbnb, and Chalet Sarlat was so perfect and met all our needs. We rented this chalet at we wanted a larger house that would have enough room for our kids and our grandkiddos, and we wanted to be close to fun activities. The kitchen was so well stocked with pots and pans, silverware, glassware, spices, and many other items. We did most our cooking at the chalet, and so enjoyed the table on the deck and spent most evenings out there. The hot tub was really nice, and the colored lighting was a bit hit with our grandkids. Riding the bikes that were available at the chalet was lots of fun and Fort Rock Park was a favorite with our grandkids. We also liked the location of the chalet as it is close to many of the lakes in the area. We had a lovely day at Cultus Lake swimming and hanging out with our family. We would definitely stay here again--thanks so much for sharing your home! Bob and Nancy
House was perfect for 2 families 4 adults 4 kids and a baby
Pros: Hot tub , great living room/kitchen 2 master baths and AC !!! HUGE pantry which was amazing !!! Master BED /closet HUGE
Cons :Master bed has HUGE skylight right over bed - so bring a sleep mask or prepare to wake with the sun. Pantry very poorly stocked in general . House stocked with S/P. Very sparse utensils .... no griddle or waffle maker. Only 1 large bowl ... large pots /pans didn’t have lids . It was fine and we brought our own Tupperware etc .-
We happen to stay during our friends anniversary so we brought expensive champagne ..... only to find only 2 actual wine glasses ..... and a third fancy stem juice glass. Just was surprising considering how many people the house fits .
Not a deal breaker .... but would recommend to owners/rental company to have an actual inventory list . I personally brought a rice cooker which was necessary as the largest pot to cook rice in didn’t have a lid.
BBQ was great but lacked appropriate tools so we used kitchen utensils with toddler sized tongs ..... couldn’t use spatula as it was plastic .
We did come with a crawling baby .... we just laid chairs down sizeways to keep baby safe . If you had a toddler you would not have a relaxing visit unless your baby never went towards the huge extra wi

Great house .... overall. Had some issues with the older sub zero fridge not getting very cold . I should’ve called but we were busy having fun :/. Fridge instructions specifically said allow 24 hours for temp to stabilize and not turn above 5 . Well next am was colder but we ended up throwing out about $80 worth of salmon and steak due to the fridge . The management company Sunriver village properties were AMAZING , very responsive and even refunded us . I called ahead to get an inventory of the house ( not listed on VBRO ) House has a great GRASS backyard and great sized

Our rental experience was great! Village Properties was so easy to communicate with us and helped ensure our vacation was spectacular. They responded to all our inquiries in a timely manner and we found the house in great shape. It looked just like the pictures and was very clean. We’d book through Village Properties again anytime!

Great to have a change of scene. Very comfortable house. Well equipped kitchen, despite prior reviews. If you are fussy about your wine glasses, bring your own. Also bring your own spices, etc. Nice towels, soaps. Easy place to be.
