Joe has a long history with both Village Properties and the Sunriver area. Joe started with Village Properties in May 2012, working in the front office in reservations. After taking a year sabbatical to do remodeling work, Joe returned to Village Properties to work in the maintenance department in November 2015. Joe is presently the maintenance supervisor for Village Properties.

Remodeling and construction have always been a passion for Joe, both professionally and recreationally for over 30 years. He enjoys working at Village Properties because in addition to everyday maintenance needs, he also gets to do remodeling and construction work. The diversity of work, paired with the small, family feel of Village Properties appeal to Joe.

Joe is a fifth-generation Oregonian who has resided in the Sunriver area since 1982 and currently shares his home with a Calico named Tock. Joe managed Sunriver Sports for 10 years before starting a business in downtown Bend, which he owned for 18 years.

Joe loves the small town feel of Sunriver. Joe owns part of a homestead ranch in Southwestern Oregon that has been in his family since 1850. His family arrived in the Oregon Territory in a covered wagon crossing the Oregon Trail in 1846, so needless to say, he knows his way around on a horse, and can wrangle cows with the best of them.
