Aaron Meyer Concert – Rock Violinist | December 1

This musical event will be held at the Sunriver at 6:30pm on the 1st of December.

Aaron Meyer captivates audiences worldwide with his electrifying stage presence.
Aaron’s unique stage presence blended with awe-inspiring virtuosic performances immediately engages his fans, displaying an affinity for the violin in a seemingly effortless mastery of the instrument.

Pink Martini’s original violinist creates his own unique style and brand.
Aaron’s cutting edge musical style was inspired by his worldwide travels. After performing as an original band member for the world-renowned band Pink Martini, he recorded on the album Sympathique (which sold a million copies worldwide), Aaron then refined his own brand of music.

Aaron blends original music with cutting-edge arrangements of timeless classics.
His broad range of music includes everything from a dynamic rendition of Vivaldi’s “The Four Seasons” to his exquisite versions of Pink Floyd’s “Comfortably Numb,” Led Zeppelin’s “Kashmir,” and the Beatles classic “Let it Be.” Whenever he performs, he connects with audiences of all ages, cultures and backgrounds from all around the world.

Community Tree Lighting – Downtown Bend | December 1

Perhaps the most quintessential of the December events in Central Oregon, join the Bend community and light the Community Christmas Tree in Drake Park in Downtown Bend! Festivities are 6:30 PM – 7 PM with Santa arriving promptly at 6:55 PM!

2017 Bend Christmas Parade | December 2

Santa will be in Downtown Bend every Saturday in December until Christmas. For this event, he will be in the Annual Downtown Bend Christmas Parade. After the Parade, he will be available until 4 PM for free visits and photos with kids.

Please note that there is no professional photographer at this event, so bring your phone or camera to get as many photos with Santa as you desire! This event is free and open to our Bend Community.

Gingerbread Junction | December 2 – January 1

Sunriver continues a favorite holiday tradition – the 22nd Annual Gingerbread Junction! Come visit Gingerbread Junction and marvel at the candy and cookie creations! Gingerbread houses will be on display in the Abbot Room of the Sunriver Lodge from December 2nd through January 1st. This event is free and open to the public.

Santa’s Village in Downtown Bend | December 2 – 23

Santa will be in Downtown Bend every Saturday in December until Christmas, starting on December 1st at the Community Tree Lighting and the 2nd at the Bend Christmas parade. From then on, he will be available every Saturday until Christmas from 12 PM to 4 PM for free visits and photos with kids.

Reindeer Romp Winter Gala – Sunriver Great Hall | December 11

A Sunriver Women’s Club Fundraiser, this event is sure to provide an evening of fun, fine dining, live entertainment and more! 
One of Bend’s top dance bands, the Bad Cats, will be performing live so you can dance the night away. Four fabulous dinner options are available to choose from. Enjoy cocktail hour from 6 – 7pm and dancing from 7 – 10pm. Come dance on the same floor that Camp Abbott dances were held on during WWII. There will also be a silent auction, raffle baskets and door prizes. Don’t miss this magical and fun-filled evening.

“A Night of Celebration” Sunriver Tasting Dinner | December 15

The December Sunriver Tasting Dinner at Sunriver will be a “Night of Celebration”. This event will feature a variety of sparkling wine paired with exceptional food to bring in the new year! At this tasting dinner, you will have the unique opportunity to learn about the inspiration, history and techniques that were used to craft these wines and learn why they are a favorite. Join us for this exclusive event pairing a variety of sparkling wine and a dinner menu specially prepared by the resort’s award-winning culinary team. The tasting dinner will take place at Carson’s American Kitchen, located in the Main Lodge at Sunriver. View the menu.

Price includes a 20% gratuity of $15. In the event of cancellation for any reason, exchanges or full refunds will be given if canceled at least 24 hours prior to the time of the event. Black Light Blast Tubing at the SHARC | December 23 and 30

Have a Black Light Blast at The SHARC in Sunriver. Enjoy tubing runs under black light and colorful laser lights. glow sticks, illuminated runs and hot chocolate and more. Free glow items. Tubes provided. No personal tubes or sleds. Reservations are required, as space fills quickly. Please call 541-585-3147 to reserve space. $15 public; $12 SROA with Member Preference ID.
