A Night at the High Desert Museum | November 3

Experience a Night at the High Desert Museum. This family-friendly sleepover adventure is fantastic fun. When the museum doors close and the lights die down, art and science come to life! You will meet living dinosaurs, find out what T. Rex tastes like, and create your own dinosaur inspired masterpiece. Dinner and light breakfast provided. For kids 5 to 13 and their adult chaperones. Mining Day at the High Desert Museum | November 11

Ever want to be a “miner?” Mining Day at the High Desert Museum is just for you! Stake a claim, pan for gold, and have your earnings authenticated in the indoor placer mine and boomtown. Mining takes place on Saturday 11/11 from 11 AM to 3 PM.

“Visions of Sugar Plums” Bake Sale at SHARC | November 11

Don’t miss this chance to do some early Christmas shopping for fantastic food and gift items! The Visions of Sugar Plums Bake Sale, takes place Saturday, November 11th at The SHARC in Sunriver. This could be your one-stop shopping for holiday food and gifts.

Tickets will also be available for some fabulous Raffle Items. New this year will be the Unique Boutique, offering gifts related to entertaining and food, such as table runners, placemats, napkins, aprons, potholders, and more. All proceeds benefit local charities and the event is put on by Sunriver Christian Fellowship.

“A Tour of Spain ” Sunriver Tasting Dinner | November 17

One of our favorite November events in Central Oregon, the Sunriver Tasting Dinner will feature a variety of wines from Spain at Sunriver! At this tasting dinner, you will have the unique opportunity to learn about the inspiration, history, and techniques that were used to craft these wines and learn why they are favorites.

This exclusive event pairs wines from different Spanish wineries and a dinner menu specially prepared the resort’s award-winning culinary team. The tasting dinner will take place at Carson’s American Kitchen, located in the Main Lodge at Sunriver. View menu.

Price includes a 20% gratuity of $15. In the event of cancellation for any reason, exchanges or full refunds will be given if canceled at least 24 hours prior to the time of the event. If canceled within 24 hours of the event, the full ticket fee will be charged. To cancel your reservation, please call 541-593-3740.

Grand Illumination at the Sunriver| November 18

Kick off your holiday season with a local tradition! Sunriver will once again host the Grand Illumination tree lighting ceremony behind the lodge in Sunriver. This year’s event will include a visit from Santa, live music, children’s craft projects, train rides, Oregon Observatory telescope viewing, face painting, sleigh rides, works from select local artisans, huggable characters, fireworks, and more. Grab a bite from local vendors or at one of the restaurants.

Live entertainment will take place outdoors on the main stage from 4:30 – 7:30 PM. The lighting ceremony starts at 5:30 PM, and pictures with Santa from 6:00 – 7:30 PM. Enjoy pony rides and a petting zoo from the DD Ranch from 4:00 – 7:30 PM and sleigh rides from 4:00 – 6:00 PM (weather permitting).

Rockin’ Holiday Kickoff – Village at Sunriver | November 25

Kick off the 2017 Holiday Season with family and friends at The Village at Sunriver. The Village will be rockin’ with various musical artists, and The Big Guy himself may pop in. Ride the Alpine Express Trackless Train and have your face painted by Elsa and Anna from Frozen. Celebrate the start of this magical season with the annual lighting of the Christmas tree!
