Description
Welcome to 1 Dixie Mountain, your new favorite vacation home in Sunriver! This charming two-story home is pet-friendly and nestled in the pines on the quiet north end of Sunriver. When you arrive, the seemingly simple exterior shrouds the many delights contained within this home. Upon entering you’re welcomed by an inviting and intimate living room that encourages you to relax and come together. Your eyes are immediately drawn to the stone fireplace that fluidly rises from the floor-to-ceiling and emphasizes the bright and open feeling of this home.
Venturing further into the home you’ll find the galley kitchen with a bar that wraps around the exterior. The lucky cook in your group will love putting on a culinary show with all the essentials easily accessible in this well stocked kitchen. At mealtime, you’ll feel as though you’re enclosed in glass with the 360-degree view of the forest surrounding the dining room table.
The surprises continue as you make your way to the second family room with its own wood stove, television, and cozy couch. This area is the perfect spot for the children in your group to have their own space for games, conversation, or fun! It could also double as the place you enjoy your morning beverage, a great book, or simply daydream as you take in the view of nature from the multiple windows in this room.
Upstairs you’ll find all 3 bedrooms with a king in the master, queen in the second bedroom and 2 bunk beds in the third bedroom. The master bedroom features a stately and low to the ground king size bed perfect for that special couple to rejuvenate and relax. There is also a chair with ottoman and dresser to store your clothes during your stay. If you’re interested in a soak with a view, the master en suite offers a soaking tub that’ll be perfect for a bubble bath at the end of the day. The second bedroom with queen size bed offers a perfect reprieve for the next couple or member of your group. Finally, the bunk room is sure to be a favorite for the youngest members of your group (or those young at heart).
If the interior of the house hasn’t delighted you enough, you’re sure to love the dual sided deck with private hot tub at the center. The comfortable sectional with umbrella is the perfect spot for lemonade and a light lunch prepared on the gas grill. On the other side of the deck you’ll find lounge seats that gives you the option of sunbathing, lounging, or both! At the end of the day, your group will love the enclosed and private hot tub to soothe your aching muscles from the day’s adventure.
