Description

Special care has been taken at 8 Lost to adorn the home with lots of delightfully unique touches. Located centrally within Sunriver, this two-story pet friendly home is nestled nicely atop a vista surrounded by natural beauty filled with abundant pine trees. The living area is complete with a flat screen television complete with ROKU TV, high-speed internet and the comfort of a gas log fireplace. This home features cascading natural light and a nice open floor plan. Each of the bedrooms is furnished with distinguished, antique duchess and shutter-board closets giving this home a sort of eloquent yet country boutique-like feel.

As the morning sun shines in from the skylights in the two upstairs bedrooms, you’ll wake feeling completely warm and relaxed. In the evening, you’ll be able to lie and look up at the stars from the comfort of your own bed. In the upstairs find a comfortable bedroom with a king-sized bed that also features a ladder up to a small loft area that a child will just love to build a fort in. The other upstairs bedroom and the downstairs bedroom both offer queen-sized beds. Everyone will sleep comfortably after a fun day of play, awakening rested and ready for another day of adventure.

The well-maintained hot tub sits in a nice, enclosed area off the front deck and the larger back deck is home to the BBQ and picnic table. The back deck looks out onto a nice common area that provides opportunity to watch deer forage through and squirrels busy their schedule gathering pinecones.

Location was perfect for the SHARC and jsut a few more mintues to downtown and located fairly easy to the nature observatory too.  House is a little dated on the inside but has all the necessities.  Hot tub is a little awkard off the front of the house but was great, clean, and worked.

The rental was nice, great location. Nice deck and area behind the home was open and backed up to other houses. Could use some dusting, as there were cobb webs all over the ceilings. Other than that was a nice place to get away. No games and no bikes. - Becky T. from Eugene

While the home was a good size with a good layout, I expected more for the money. It needs: deep clean (stained rug, cob webs, dust); better stocked kitchen (no spices, foil, 70s dishes, etc.); new router (horrible wifi continually dropped).The hot tub was newer and nice and bed was comfortable but a few upgrades and deep clean would go a long way in making this home passable. - Anonymous from OregonCity

We really enjoyed this rental. It is clean, comfortable, and was the perfect size for our family of four. The hot tub and fireplace were great (even in July the night time temperatures were in the 30s and 40s so we used both nightly--the hot tub took about 24 hours to get from 80 to 100 degrees luckily we checked it right when we arrived and increased the temp so we could use it starting the next night). The house is located close to the Village and comes with 7 SHARC passes (we did not use them because of COVID restrictions--limited opening and reservations required). It is at the end of a cul du sac so quiet and the view out the back is of the woods and mostly private. The house comes stocked with paper supplies, soap, shampoo and conditioner (no laundry detergent though). There was salt/pepper, oil and vinegar in the kitchen when we arrived. The only complaint is the grill. It was rusted and dirty and barely worked so we were not able to use it. But the stove/oven and other appliances are new and work well. We enjoyed this rental and would definitely consider renting it again if we return to Sunriver. For things to do we highly recommend the High Desert Museum, Bend, Riding at Black Butte Ranch, the Sunriver Observatory and just walking/biking around Sunriver in addition to local hikes and walks. The Bistro is a really nice restaurant in the Village and the Sunriver Bar and Grill is great too. The upstairs bathtub was clogged. When we called, maintenance was there in 15 min and quickly fixed the clog which was great. Highly recommend this property (would be nice if they fixed or replaced the grill). - Angela B. from San Jose
