This is one of the best places we’ve ever stayed! The house is located on the far side of a cul-de-sac-like loop so there’s no traffic noise. Once you’re inside you feel like you’re far from the crowds, but the shopping areas are within walking distance. Loved the open floor plan and beautiful views from the windows and deck. Lots of big windows but they’re placed in such a way that you still have plenty of privacy. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. You can tell by the care with which this home has been decorated and furnished that the owners want it to look like a year-round home rather than just a vacation rental that covers the basics. Comfy beds. Lots of firewood. The hot tub was great!

Beautiful and Fun!

This was a really lovely and comfortable place to stay! The open floor plan is great for hanging out with groups. The kitchen is very well stocked for cooks, and the deck is a beautiful spot to enjoy some food and wine. And of course the hot tub is very relaxing after a long day outdoors. Benham Falls is a short drive away and was our favorite place for hiking. Thank you to our kind hosts!

From the crackling fireplace to the hot tub, you have done a great job making this little oasis away from the hustle and bustle of life. Absolutely loved it! A lovely and luxurious home. They’ve thought of all the amenities. Comfortable beds, a well-stocked kitchen including an espresso maker! We are professional cooks and had everything we need - equipment, glassware, platters - you name it. It was impeccably clean, and has two decks and a hot tub, which we enjoyed to the fullest. We also really appreciated the entertainment provided - bikes!, cornhole, passes to the pool. It would be fun to visit in cool weather as they have a beautiful fireplace. There is ample room for hanging with friends or family, with great separation of space affording privacy. Despite having lived in Bend for years prior to returning to Portland, I'd never actually visited Sunriver until this trip. Rocky Mountain 9 was the perfect home for our visit, and we'd absolutely return. The house was well appointed, clean and very comfortable. Too good! My biking buddies and I had a great stay at Rocky Mountain 9. Well appointed kitchen, lovely deck, and a bike path right out the back door. World class mountain biking a short drive away.
